Hypoxia (2009-2014)

1. f. Med.

1. Hypoxia: insufficient oxygen supply to tissues in the body

HYPOXIA is a critical view about the occidental way of life, a hide-out where free-yourself, an open space to scream, laugh or cry, an ode to the frustrations generated by the system’s values, those that seem to transform into normal by the senseless actions we get involved in every day.

The lack of oxygen is the metaphor around which this project is introduced, it goes in deep inside the social sleepiness, and those imposed habits which we have normalized, and made our own without stopping to think about them.

HIPOXIA covers in an explicit and exaggerated way of everyday situations and feelings the author experiences, aiming, with such visual images, to make an impact on the audience and himself, inspiring reflection and an awareness about our way of life.

Potentially learning how to breath and break free with of the socially-imposed values we see today.
